Beautiful 1 Year Old

I have 5 words. Big-Beautiful-Round-Blue-Eyes! Wow. I took pictures of this little girl when she was a newborn and now she's almost 1. She is so stinkin' cute! She's such a petite little thing yet pushed almost everything she could across the floor so she could walk behind it. And happy! I think we changed her clothes about five times and never a complaint from her. She smiled and laughed the entire time. We just kept going since she was willing!

This is the same little 3 month old girl with the hat and the "I'm about to cry" cute look on her face. I went to their house for a few more shots. The pink/blue/white blanket was made special by great-grandma I believe (am I correct?).
I can't get enough of this little girl. I LOVE her cheeks!

I posted a sneak peek of this sweet little three month old last week. I went out to their house over the weekend for some more pictures and caught this adorable expression. I think this is one of my favorite pictures! Look at that face and those cheeks!

Winston-Salem's Cutest Kid Contest - Winston-Salem Child Photographer

I am so excited to announce our first annual Winston-Salem's Cutest Kid Contest!

Do you have the cutest kid in Winston-Salem? How does a free session and other great prizes sound?

Here's what you need to do:

1. Leave a comment either here or on our Facebook page about the contest.
2. Email a photo (non-professional photos only please) and the name of your child to nicole@nicolenelsonphoto.com by noon on Friday, March 5, 2010. You can enter one photo per child, one child per photo.
3. VOTE, and tell your friends and family to vote! The voting will start on our blog on Sunday, March 7th and will end at midnight on Wednesday, March 10th.

The winner will be announced on Thursday, March 11th.

The grand prize winner will receive:

• Complimentary photo session
• Complimentary 8x10 print
• Two Complimentary wallet size accordion mini books with images from the session

There will be prizes for 2nd & 3rd place as well!

The session will occur at our studio in Clemmons or on-location (park, your home, etc).

This sweet little 13 day old baby boy came into the studio this week. He was fantastic! He was awake most of the time and was so content. His big brother (3) was amazing. He was so good and patient, just a great little boy.

I love this family! It was so much fun to make them laugh and watch the kids interact. I'm a little biased though because the mom is a good friend of mine and the boys are buddies with my little boy!

I have been looking forward to seeing this little guy again. I took pictures with his brothers a few months back and now he's 1! I love his big blue eyes. He's so funny, he kept trying to bite everything (ball, chair.... even mom!).
